  • Can I use it for food?｜飲食用に使える？

    Items repaired during the simplified workshop are not intended for food or beverage use. Please enjoy them as decorative pieces or accessory trays.


    簡易金継ぎ体験で修復した器は、飲食用には使用せず、観賞用やアクセサリートレイとしてお楽しみください。

    Bookings are available for one person. Same-day bookings may also be available, subject to availability.

    Urushi Studio Kodemari offers beginner-friendly Kintsugi workshops in Naha, Okinawa. Our indoor workshops are popular with international travelers visiting Okinawa.


    漆工房小手毬では、沖縄・那覇で初心者向けの金継ぎ体験を提供しています。旅行中でも気軽に楽しめる屋内ワークショップです。

  • How long does the workshop take?｜体験時間はどのくらいですか？

    Most workshops take approximately 90 to 120 minutes, depending on the course.

  • What can I make at the workshop?｜どのような作品を作れますか？

    Create Kintsugi-style accessories or repair pottery using simplified Kintsugi techniques with modern materials. Take your finished piece home as a special souvenir of your trip to Okinawa.


    金継ぎ風アクセサリー制作や、現代材料を使用した簡易金継ぎ技法による器修復体験をお楽しみいただけます。完成した作品は、沖縄旅行の思い出としてお持ち帰りいただけます。

    Our studio is located in central Naha, Okinawa: 1F, 2-16-6 Maejima, Naha, Okinawa. It is within walking distance of Miebashi Station.

  • Is parking available?｜駐車場はありますか？

    We do not have dedicated parking, but there are several coin parking lots nearby.


    専用駐車場はございませんが、近隣にコインパーキングがございます。

  • Is this traditional Kintsugi?｜本格的な金継ぎですか？

    Traditional Kintsugi using natural lacquer (urushi) is completed slowly over multiple stages. Our workshop uses simplified Kintsugi techniques with modern materials so that travelers and beginners can enjoy the experience. We also offer traditional Kintsugi classes using natural lacquer for local residents.


    本格的な金継ぎは、天然漆を使用し、各工程を時間をかけて仕上げます。ワークショップでは、旅行者や初心者の方にも楽しんでいただけるよう、現代材料を使用した簡易金継ぎ技法を用いています。地元のお客様向けには、天然漆による本金継ぎ教室も開催しています。
